1) What inspired you to write “Looking at the Wall”, tell us a bit about your book?
A: For me creative writing is the ultimate. I have been writing for over a decade, it’s been textbooks, where there is little scope for creativity. So this collection. The book as I have said earlier is an experience that has remained with me over the years. I often scribble, and it remains, however, I have finally put it in this form.
2) Which story of the book was the most fun to write?
A: The story which was fun to write was “Voodoo, with love”. The story is a memory of a pet I nurtured for fifteen years.
3) How did you come up with the title for the book?
A: I came up with the title Looking at the Wall, personally as they were off-beat stories, literally my table as a senior editor faced a wall. But for my reader, it can be varied, of optical illusions.

A: The names of my characters come from the environment they live in or the role they play.
5) What was one of the most surprising things you learned while drafting “Looking at the Wall” ?
A: The most surprising thing was the new ideas that kept coming up for other stories.
6) When you develop characters do you already know who they are before you begin writing or do you let them develop as you go
A: Some of the character development is pre-meditated others spontaneous.
7) Can you attribute your writing skills to any teacher you have had in the past?
A: No not really.
8) I see that the stories in “Looking at the Wall” are fictionalized accounts of real life incidents, are they connected to you or people around you?
A: Some stories are connected to others, while others are around me.
9) If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?
A: I would like to tell my younger self to always keep a record of experience. I may or may not consider story points later.
10)We’ve recently begun a new year and I’ve come across a lot of posts about new year resolutions. Do you have anything special that you’ll be focusing on this year?
A: No, I have no resolutions to write, though I already have two offers, I may consider one.
